Question: I have been looking at various sail boats and would like to know what sails are included in calculating the Sq. Footage. ie - main along, main and jib, main and 150 genoa, etc.

Answer: Hi, I think you will find that it varies by manufacturer. But generally it is the mainsail area and the largest headsail drawn on the plan.
