Question: When considering if you want one or two dousing patches on your spinnaker, which is best for a buccaneer 18?

Answer: Hi,

You probably don't need any dousing patches on a Buccaneer 18 spinnaker unless you use a retrieval line. In the case of a retrieval line that goes into a bow tank or sleeve, the number and placement of the dousing patches is dictated by the length of the storage sleeve.
