Hi Zan, a "Code 0" is a racing
sail that is intended to be used with a roller furling system. It is technically
an asymetric spinnaker but flys more like a genoa. North's
G-0 is a cruising version of the Code 0. The G-0 has less roach area
and is a little more versatile. A true Gennaker will not work well on
a roller furler because there is too much positive curve on the luff edge
of the sail. In order to roller furl the luff of the sail needs to be
pulled tight. Go BACK to Solutions for Sailors Main Page.
