You should get the deck hardware in place first, and then the sail designs next. If you are starting with a stock Coaster, you will want to add a headsail furler, mainsail halyard and reef lines lead back to the coachroof and a simple lazy jack system. I sailed on a friend's Pearson Wanderer in RI last
summer. Those are great old boats. If you are in the RI area I can steer
