Question:
I consider myself a cruiser, but any time there's more than one sailboat cruising together it's a race. My wife and I purchased our boat just over a year ago. We have yet to try the spinnaker that came with the boat. It appears to have everything we need except a downhaul for the pole. The jib track extends far enough forward that possibly the sheet can act as both. I am inexperienced using a spinnaker so I may be contacting you soon to ask about adding a downhaul.

Answer: Hi Richard,

If your sail is a Cruising Asymmetric spinnaker or Gennaker I think you might find this video on our website helpful.

Feel free to contact me directly with any additional questions or better yet let me know where you are sailing and I'll have our nearest representative call you.

Best of luck!
