Question: What type of sheet would you recommend that I use with my gennaker? The boat is a Tatoosh 42 that I use exclusively for cruising. Type and length would be most appreceiated.

Answer: Philip,

I would recomend a 3/8" spectra/ technora blend sheet for your gennaker. Yale makes a product called Aratech that would do the job nicely. As far as length, a good rule of thumb is twice the length of your boat for a gennaker sheet, around 80' should be plenty of length.
