| Question: Saw on the Net, a Gulf 32 Pilothouse with a North Sails main with “ZipStop” furling. Can you tell me what this is or is there a better (newer) system? Steve Lind |

Answer: The Zip Stop mainsail system is, I believe, a discontinued product. We used to have exclusive rights to building these but have not built one for at least 12 years, so the mainsail on the boat is likely pretty old. The best mainsail stow systems, without incurring a major expense, would be our Quick Cover or the Dutchman systems. Please let me know if I can be of more help. |
