This incredibly successful sail has worked when we've used Aramid, PBO and now Carbon/Aramid blend. For 2007 we modified this design slightly to smooth out the overall shape of the sail. NWC-08 3DL™ Carbon 800 16800 DPI - $15,073 Using the North priority design software we started with the NW-07 mainsail and worked on duplicating an all carbon version of the sail. With v3 of the design we are ready to offer this sail for 2008. The sail will have more control of headstay sag as the mainsheet load is transferred directly to the boat through the 100% carbon yarns. Storm Trysail ST-08 (Not Required for Class Racing) Custom Farr 40 Dacron ORC Legal - $2,412 There are presently 3 mast manufacturers for the Farr 40 and all 3 have different mainsail tack shackle offsets. LC-08 3DL Carbon 800L - recommended 12600 DPI - $8,821 Thin Film 100% Carbon sail, a development of our very successful LB mold. Used in Europe with great success and won the 2006 World Championship. 	*Medium Jibs - Choice of:* MA-08 3DL Carbon/Aramid 860L 19600 DPI - $9,637 Thin Film Updating the design utilizing the latest North 3DL thread-layouts we have taken this time to very slightly flatten the sail (from MA-05 ) for today’s tighter trimming techniques. MC-08 3DL Carbon 800 - recommended 16800 DPI - $9,596 Thin Film The MC-08 is a design progression from the MC-07. The design has slightly less vertical camber and less entry than it’s predecessor. This design was used to win the 2007 Worlds. This is the recommended class medium jib. Both medium jibs have been re-sized to allow sheeting with tighter inhaul. DESIGNED WIND RANGE: 8 -17 knots true wind speed

	*Heavy Jibs - Choice of:* The area is adjusted for optimum performance in 17 - 23 knots true wind speed. HC-08 3DL Carbon 800 19600 DPI - $9,705 DESIGNED WIND RANGE: 17 - 23 knots true wind speed HWJ-08 Class Rule that it must be Aramid 23800 DPI - $7,261 (Qualifies as an ORC #4. 	For 2008 the class has decided to go with three Masthead Spinnakers. Two at 30 grams and one at 40 grams. This permits the boat to carry a “family” of MH spinnakers that have an effective range through all the racing conditions. The 1S is strictly a light air VMG style sail and is 30 gram (.5 oz sailmakers weight.) The 1.5S is more of a hybrid designed in between the 1S and the 2S. It is also 30 gram, although some boats prefer this design as their 40 gram spinnaker. Finally, all will utilize a large 2S, with a rule weight of 40 gram (sailmakers .7oz.) A fourth spinnaker will be carried onboard -- a fractional sail that fits the old measurement rule. We recommend the current 4S 40 gram sail that will only be used in very extreme conditions.
