CODE ZERO:

Shape & Size

The Code Zero is a close reaching asymmetric spinnaker initially developed by North designers for EF Language in the 1997-98 Whitbread Around the World Race. The sail was a "secret weapon" instrumental in EFL jumping to an early lead the team would never relinquish. Currently, Code Zero asymmetrics are principally used by boats that spend a lot of time close reaching in light air, however experiences in classes such as the Farr 40 where the Code 0 is used in windier conditions and wider angles may quickly bring them into the mainstream.
